For the first time ever we created a venue for Texas Distilleries to fight it out for the title of The Best Bourbon in Texas. Jim Murray, the number one whisky critic and consultant in the world and author of The Whisky Bible, tasted Texas Bourbon Distilleries best products and crowned the champion on stage live! Our guest joined in on the action by tasting the entries of of the 11 Texas Bourbon Distilleries as Jim Murray walked through their submissions. Seating was limited for The Texas Bourbon Shootout to keep this historic moment intimate and enjoyable for everyone involved. Proceeds from the event benefited The Longview World of Wonders, A Hands-On Discovery Center for Children.

Although all Texas Bourbon Distilleries that produced grain to glass in Texas were eligible to enter their bourbon into the 2019 Texas Bourbon Shootout, the following distilleries felt confident that their product had what it took to be crowned THE BEST BOURBON IN TEXAS!
